PRODUCT CARE |
|
Cleaning Extreme care must be taken when cleaning your reflective sheet as the metalised (PET / BOPP) foil coating is only a few microns in thickness. Reflective sheets are designed to be exposed to the elements and will get dirty with every camping trip. This is acceptable and what the sheet is designed for. It is advisable not to clean the reflective sheet after every camping trip as this will effect the performance of the reflective coating on the product over time.
However, we advise on cleaning the reflective sheet during and after every coastal trip, as the sea air will cause corrosion to the metalised coating and eyelets if not cleaned.
Cleaning of the reflective sheet should be done using a soft cotton cloth with clean water only (NO CHEMICALS MUST BE USED).
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Coastal conditions will cause corrosion to the metalised coating IF the reflective sheet is not cleaned prior to packing away the product when leaving for home. Please ensure that the reflective sheet is cleaned as advised and COMPLETELY DRY before storage.

REPAIRS |
|
Due to exposure to natural conditions and elements beyond our control, our products are thus not indestructible.
Damaged storm straps or eyelets are easily replaced. This type of repair is made easy due to the extended storm strap design of all our products.
Should there be an unfortunate event where the foil section of the sheet is damaged, we are able to repair this by either replacing an entire section or simply repairing the damaged section with a specialised acrylic glue foil.
